Graduate Admissions

Admissions to our master's and doctorate programs are granted at the school or department level, and thus requirements and deadlines vary accordingly. To be admitted, you must satisfy the requirements of both the school or department as well as those of the graduate school. Admission to some programs is limited.

To Apply

Send the following materials to:

  1. University of Florida Online Application
  2. Declaration of Conduct form (completed online at the time of application. If not submitted online, this form must be mailed to the Office if Admissions)
  3. Residency documentation (if applicable. Completed online at the time of application. If not submitted online, this documentation must be mailed to the Office of Admissions)
  4. Payment of $30 for the non-refundable application fee (payable by credit card online at the time of application. If not submitted online, payment must be mailed to the Office of Admissions)
  5. Official transcripts from all post-secondary institutions attended (mailed by you or, preferably, your post secondary institutions directly to the Office of Admissions)

Send the following materials to the school or department:

  1. 3 letters of recommendation
  2. Statement of intent
  3. Copies of all transcripts and test scores (Contact the Educational Testing Service to forward your official test scores to the University of Florida. The UF institution code is 5812)
  4. Application for fellowship or assistantship (if applicable)
  5. Additional materials as required by the following school, department or program

Contact your school or department for program application deadlines.

Admissions Decisions

The school or department will notify you in writing of their admission decision, as well as any other requirements. The offer of admission is specific to the term identified.
